At the soul of Freshwater Harmony are vital, heartfelt conversations that support and connect people and communities.

We’ve created an inspiring, safe and supportive place for you to grow, learn and thrive.

Our workplaces and communities expand and flourish when we value our unique lived experiences, strengths, creativity and aspirations. Mentally healthy, supported and valued people are at the foundation. This is what inspires us at Freshwater Harmony.

Supporting Mental Health Literacy

Mental ill-health impacts each of us either directly or indirectly. The impacts can be profound and affect people from all walks of life, whatever their background, education, career or stage of life.

Mental ill-health can be pervasive and unrelenting, having a significant and long-lasting impact on all aspects of someone’s life, including their education, work and relationships.

Freshwater Harmony works with individuals, businesses and groups to reduce stigma and develop the competency, knowledge and confidence to pay attention, respond and support someone experiencing mental ill-health or a crisis.

Freshwater Harmony is a proud signatory of the National Communications Charter, a formal commitment and set of principles to guide the way we talk about suicide and mental ill-health.

“We all have a role to play in reducing stigma around mental ill-health and suicide while also promoting help-seeking behaviour through the Charter’s guiding principles and messages” (Life in Mind).

Freshwater Harmony is also a member of Suicide Prevention Australia.
